WELCOME TO
FOUNDATIONS
This group consists of young adults roughly between ages 23 and 33,
single or married, with no children.
The group meets once a month to share a meal together
and spend about an hour in group conversation on topics that
help us relate our faith to our “real lives.”
We are currently using a book to guide our conversations:
“If Life is a Game, These Are the Rules”
by Cherie Carter-Scott.
Rev. Stephen Fife and Jan Cooke “gently” lead the group.
Our next meeting is Thursday, September 10th at 6:00pm.
We’ve tried to make the evening ultra-easy so busy people will be able to attend.
The conversation ranges from comical to deeply serious,
and NO ONE is a Bible scholar!!
At the end of the evening, group members contribute
to the “Food Kitty” (approx $4 each) and head out the door
with an ice cream sandwich!
This is a TERRIFIC group of young people, some married, most not,
very accepting and friendly and ready to deal honestly with questions of faith.
